okay i was reading this book:the knife that killed me, by anthony mcgowan and i came across this section of it. the character freezes time in a stupid manner, and is about to be/will be "killed" if he unfreezes time, so he refers to his predicament as zugzwang, a word that is used in chess. what it means, is that, in terms of a game of chess(where it is used), he is safe as long as he doesnt move or can pass the turn, but in a chess game, passing ur turn is not possible, so you will be forced to move, and no matter how u move, u will be put in a postion worse then u already are, leading to a checkmate, etc.

imo, that words pretty cool, albiet seldom never used.

got ac/dc's black ice deluxe edition,and dl-ed almost all the songs in back in black, also by them. oh, also dl-ed all the singles from appetite of destruction by guns n roses. they're not to bad, cept that most ppl to winded up in poop music to realise.

crap i still gotta buy funeral for a friend, fall out boy and the killers albums. spending waaayyy too much. zzz

the thing is, im running out of things to talk about besides my own life. and talking about ur own life (anyone's for that matter) tends to bore people...

ok so i'm wondering if thomson's yamaha holds holiday courses for electric guitar...

and co pretty nutty now, 4hours, twice a week, regularly.

gotta plan which ones i wanna go and hich ones i dont.

hmm, can only figure out 2 out of 6...nvm that.

jiakhee wants to learn bass. as in, teach himself. i think its cute. (if u see this, it is NOT an insult).

ok, topic everyone's talking about. results. i think mines okay, as in, what i wanted. oddly, i failed my geog ca2: 47/100. it pulled my sa2's 67/100 to 55/100, which in turn pulled my overall grades down...think i can +1 to 2 to my overall if i got the average for geog. must go find many tan goh tomottow...think she left out my ca2 project(s). lets hope it works out.

hmm, holiday guitar lessons, anyone noe where to find?

okay its been 6 days...

i mostly forgot what ive wanted to blog about. crap. here's what i still remember, though its a bit stupid...

watched school of rock in school yesterday. didnt think much of it.

oh wait, i take that back. my idea of bassists just got cooler. not that i wanna be one. yet. coz it is pretty dull, just struming dum-dum-dum-dum throughout the whole song, and its supposedly tough to learn, as said by john. oh yeah, and i got interested in old rock/metal music again after that. old as in, the 70's, like deep purple, black sabbath, led zepplin and a bit of 80's, guns n' roses and ac/dc.

okay tmr's cca 9am to 5pm. there's a two hour lunch break from 12-2, but it still sucks. 6 hours of practice/dying of boredom.

*sigh*

oh yea, and im having a secong look at other guitars, eg. les paul and SG after watching school of rock.

things are getting screwy around here,

everyone's moving house recently. 3 ppl out of 40 move in 1 month. odd.
kr go punggol frm serangoon (decent location to ulu, but punggol's developing.), jm go lavender frm amk and vlad go pasir ris frm toa payoh (very good location to very ulu. what did he see in pasir ris?).

ok so exams are virtually over, coz only got lit and home econs paper left. home econs dunnid mug. (lx, say the mug thing and i'll poke u in school. muahaha). lit just needs only about 45mins or studying...

dunno if renbin still on about going out...

so rise against's album is out...wonder where i can get.

something else i thought of about our society.

our society is kiasu.very. and here's the problem with it, put abit dramatically.
its like everyone is trying to kill everyone else to get to the top. so like, in the end, there will be only two kinds of people left. the dead and they dying.

so ironaically, with everyone being so kiasu, which translated to chinese is pa su, in english would be scared to lose, there is no winners, only losers
